Goals

ENDANZA 2014 is the sixth edition of an Intensive Dance Summer Course in Valencia that has become the best option for students and professionals that aim to work with teachers and choreographers of international prestige, which will enrich their technique.

July is the perfect month to reinforce the technique achieved during the year, and ENDANZA combines the privilege of working with world renowned teachers and choreographers, the experience of living with students of many different schools and places and the pleasure of enjoying Valencia, a dynamic city with a wide offer of cultural and ludic possibilities, and with a fantastic beach only some minutes away form the course.

ENDANZA 2014 runs in a two weeks period of intensive work from Monday to Saturday, with an schedule from 9.30 to 20.30 and with a wide offer of Classical, Contemporary, Jazz and Character dance classes, choreographic workshops of Kenneth Mc Millan, Wayne Mc Gregor, Cayetano soto and Pina Bausch, plus a methodology course that welcomes teachers and students that want to deepen in their knowdlege about the teaching of ballet.

This year we will end the course with the CLOUSURE OF ENDANZA, at the Theatre La Rambleta in Valencia, where show some of the work done during the course by the students will be shown, and all of them will enjoy the performance of various guest dancers ( to be confirmed).

The course will begin with a welcome meeting to all participants on Monday July14th at 8.45h, having a first contact with all students, guest teachers and staff. Like in past editions, during this two weeks the studens create strong frienship links with friends that live miles away but share a common passion: Dance.

The mission of  ENDANZA is to form dancers, to encourage the exchange of experiences betweeen students, teachers, choreographers and organisers, to enhace the possibilities, cultural and turistic offer of the city of Valencia and to consolidate our city as a neuralgic center for the dance at an international level.
